Jacob Daus, is a LPL Financial Advisor at Luminosity Financial, has been helping clients pursue their financial goals since February 2022. In December 2025, Jacob earned the CFP® certification, further solidifying his expertise in comprehensive financial planning. Holding Series 7 & 66 Licenses with LPL Financial, along with a Life, Health, and Variable Annuity License, Jacob is exceptionally well-equipped to guide you through every stage of your financial journey.

Growing up in DeLand, FL, Jacob moved to Tallahassee in 2015 to attend Florida State University, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Sport Management. His experience working with the Men's Basketball and Football teams gave him valuable skills in budgeting, recruiting, and game planning—skills he now applies to building strategic, personalized financial plans for his clients.

A Strong Family and Community Presence

Outside of work, Jacob is supported by his wife, Emily, and their two sons, Lukas and Nicholas. Together, they are active in their community, volunteering with the humane society as foster parents for puppies and kittens. Their involvement extends to their church, where they serve on the worship team, and lead within the Youth and Children's Ministries.

Community Involvement and Personal Interests

Jacob also dedicates time to local sports, serving on the Board of Directors for the Tallahassee Quarterback Club, being a member of the Florida State University Varsity Club, and coaching his son's youth sports teams. In their free time, the Daus family enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and participating in recreational sports activities around Tallahassee.
