Originally from North Miami, FL, James moved to Tallahassee to pursue the TCC to FSU transfer program, majoring in Editing, Writing, and Media at FSU. In 2012, he opened his first franchised fitness facility. James is deeply rooted in the Tallahassee community, contributing to the Tallahassee Chamber, Business Networking International, The Tallahassee 100 Club, and serving as a former board member and president of Girls on the Run of the Big Bend.
Supported by his loving wife, Rebecca Balarezo, and their children Owen Benjamin, Emma Paige, and Ezra James, James enjoys ultra-running, boating, adventure riding, and action sports in his free time.
